How to Configure Discord Notifications
Step 1: Create a Discord Webhook
- Open your Discord server
- Go to Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks
- Click New Webhook
- Choose the channel for alerts and name the webhook (e.g., "Xitoring Alerts")
- Copy the Webhook URL
Step 2: Create a Notification Role in Xitoring
- Log in to your Xitoring Dashboard
- Go to Settings → Notification Roles
- Click Create New Role
- Name it (e.g., "Discord Alerts")
Step 3: Add the Discord Channel
- Click Add Contact in the notification role
- Select Discord as the channel
- Paste the Discord Webhook URL
- Save the configuration
Step 4: Test It
- Click Send Test to send a test alert
- Verify the message appears in your Discord channel
