How to Configure Telegram Notifications
Step 1: Set Up the Xitoring Telegram Bot
- Open Telegram and search for the Xitoring Bot
- Start a conversation with the bot by clicking Start
- Follow the bot's instructions to link your Xitoring account
Step 2: Create a Notification Role
- Log in to your Xitoring Dashboard
- Go to Settings → Notification Roles
- Click Create New Role
- Name it (e.g., "Telegram Alerts")
Step 3: Add Telegram Channel
- Click Add Contact in the notification role
- Select Telegram as the channel
- Enter the Telegram chat ID or link your bot
- Save the configuration
