    Setting Up a Channel

    1. Navigate to Settings → Notification Channels
    2. Click Add Channel
    3. Select the channel type
    4. Follow the setup wizard (each channel has specific configuration steps)
    5. Send a test notification to verify

    Best Practices

    • Use tiered notifications: Slack for warnings, SMS/phone for critical
    • Create channel groups to notify multiple channels at once
    • Set quiet hours to suppress non-critical notifications overnight
    • Test channels monthly to ensure they're still working
