How to Configure Push Notifications
Step 1: Install the Xitoring Mobile App
- Download the Xitoring app from the App Store or Google Play Store
- Log in with your Xitoring account credentials
- Allow notification permissions when prompted
Step 2: Create a Notification Role
- In your Xitoring Dashboard, go to Settings → Notification Roles
- Click Create New Role
- Name it (e.g., "Mobile Alerts")
Step 3: Enable Push Notifications
- In the notification role, click Add Contact
- Select Mobile Push Notification as the channel
- Your device will be automatically linked
Step 4: Assign to Monitors
- Open your monitors and assign the notification role under Triggers
- Save the configuration
