# Incident's Root Cause
The status of a service is very important but when it's come to Xitoring the
DOWN of service is not enough!
What can make the diagnose of a problem very easy and fast is the root cause of that problem. for example you have a DOWN incident reported for your HTTP(s) Check, it can be a network problem with your server, problem with resolving your domain, or many other things. in Xitoring you always have a
Root Cause report stick to the incident. even when you get an Email for an incident you have the root cause report attached to that Email.
