Slack Integration (Legacy)

To get your incidents and alerts on Slack you need to proceed with the following steps:

  • Sign up on the Slack website and create a project for yourself.
  • Create an app in Slack
  • In the incoming webhook section, you can create a webhook URL for the Xitoring notification role.

  • Navigate to the Xitoring Notification Role page, and select the desired notification role to which you want to add Slack integration to.
  • Enter the webhook URL that you got from the Slack website and the channel name to post to.

Now you are good to go, you can assign this notification role to different triggers and get your alerts and incidents in your Slack too.
