- Plan cost
Understanding Plan Limits
Each plan includes specific resource allocations:
| Resource | What It Means | How It's Count
ed | |----------|---------------|----------------| | Servers | Maximum servers with Xitogent | Per server (physical or VM) | | Checks | Maximum uptime monitoring checks | Per check (HTTP, DNS, Ping, etc.) | | SMS Credits | Notification SMS/voice calls | Per message sent | | Status Pages | Public/private status pages | Per status page | | Data Retention | Historical metrics storage | Days of history kept | | Team Members | Users accessing account | Per user login |
Resource Optimization
Not all resources count against limits. Integrations (database, web server monitoring) are typically unlimited and don't consume check quota.
Usage Monitoring
Real-Time Usage Dashboard
Navigate to: Dashboard → Account → Usage
Track current consumption across all resources:
- Servers: Active servers reporting metrics
- Checks: Running uptime monitoring checks
- SMS Credits: Sent this billing period
- Integrations: Enabled software monitors
- API Calls: Monthly API request count (if limited)
Usage Trends
View historical usage patterns to:
- Identify growth trends
- Plan for capacity increases
- Optimize resource allocation
- Budget for next billing period
Usage Alerts
Set up notifications when approaching limits:
- Go to Account → Usage → Alerts

Plan Changes
Upgrading Your Plan
